Understanding the 'My Profile' Section
The My Profile section in SimplifyQA acts as a centralized hub for managing your account settings, preferences, integrations, and security.
This area is accessible from the user menu and is divided into three key categories:
Switch to Admin
Manage Account
Settings.
1. Switch to Admin
If your user role has been granted the appropriate privileges, you will see the "Switch to Admin" option. This allows you to enter the admin mode and access organization-wide configurations and controls. This feature is typically used by project owners to manage user roles, privileges, and other administrative tasks.
2. Manage Account
This section focuses on user-specific settings and includes the following subsections:
My Profile: Update your personal details such as name, email, and contact information. Keeping this information current helps ensure better collaboration and notifications.
Change Password: Use this option to change your current password securely. It's a good practice to update your password periodically for security.
Project Management: Configure and manage third-party integrations (e.g., JIRA, Jenkins, Git) that are tied to your projects. This enables smooth CI/CD and issue-tracking workflows.
Security:
API Token Generation: Create or regenerate API tokens for accessing SimplifyQA APIs securely.
Machine Registration Token: Generate tokens for registering agents or machines.
Two-Way Verification: Add an extra layer of security to your account by setting up 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication).

.csv,.xls,.pdf,.txt, and images, making it ideal for handling test data, reference documents, and upload/download validations. Files stored in the repository can be directly linked to test steps, enabling seamless integration into both manual and automated test scenarios. With role-based access control, only authorized users can manage or reference files, ensuring security and relevance across teams.Themes: Personalise your SimplifyQA experience by selecting a preferred theme or layout.
